AI and Faith and All Things New.Tech, the blog headed by our Founding Member Paul Taylor, teaching pastor at Peninsula Bible Church in Palo Alto, have created a 90-minute Zoom discussion webinar hosted by the CEO and Editor in Chief of Christianity Today on September 29 from 4:00-5:30. This event is for Christian tech workers and faith leaders in congregations across the Valley to come together, connect, and identify the critical issues and stories that Christianity Today should be reporting on and ways in which it can support the work of AI professionals and the faith congregations in which they worship around engagement with cutting edge technology. We envision this as a pilot for similar discussions led by publications in other faiths or an eventual cross-faith exercise to follow.
Interviews with a blue ribbon panel consisting of a leading VC partner at Andreesen Horowitz, an AI researcher at Google, a machine learning professor from Harvey Mudd, and an IBM Watson AI pioneer and Master Inventor, will jumpstart the 60 minute discussion to follow in breakout sessions. If you work in the Valley and would like an invitation to participate, please email David Brenner at dmbrenner[at]aiandfaith.org or John Knox at john[at]allthingsnew.tech.
(Tuesday) 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm
