The Association of Computing Machinery’s Conference on Fairness Accountability and Transparency (FAT), in Barcelona, Spain, January 26-30. Founding Member Mohammad Aurangzeb Ahmad is co-organizer of a panel on Fairness, Accountability, Transparency in AI at Scale: Lessons from National Programs. The panel, featuring representatives from UAE, USA, Singapore and the Maldives, will discuss how different national governmental programs are implementing accountability of machine learning systems in healthcare and how each government conceptualizes what constitutes fairness, accountability and transparency within their cultural context.
