2023 Tech Ethics Symposium at Duquesne University: “Encountering AI: Ethical and Anthropological Investigation” Nov. 9

What does it mean to encounter AI from a position of faith? How can we apply Pope Francis’s teachings about AI to current debates on the ethics and future of technology? What does it mean for definitions of humanity and our relationship to God?  As the 2023 Tech Ethics Symposium begins, join an exciting conversation with members of the Vatican Center for Digital Culture as they discuss the upcoming new volume from the Vatican’s Dicastery for Culture and Education, “Encountering AI: Ethical and Anthropological Investigations.”  Panelists include AI&F Advisors Nathan Colaner and John Slattery, with a special introduction by Bishop Paul Tighe, Secretary of Culture for the Vatican’s Dicastery for Culture and Education.
