Is Professor of the History of Christianity at Seattle Pacific University and the former Dean of SPU’s School of Theology, where he studies American religious history. He is especially interested in comparing religious movements’ historical engagement of technology with their potential influence on the complex, global environment of AI-powered technology today. Doug holds a master’s in divinity and PhD from Princeton Theological Seminary.
