On July 18th, Tim Weinhold joined approximately 150 others at The Future of AI in Healthcare conference here in Seattle, a one-day event focused on cutting-edge developments at the intersection of healthcare and AI. The innovations discussed covered a wide spectrum: patient diagnosis and treatment, healthcare administration, pharmaceutical development, addiction recovery, telemedicine, and more. Alex Ermolaev, Director of AI at Change Healthcare in San Francisco seemed to sum up the general consensus when he said, “AI in healthcare is where the internet was in the early 1990s” — in other words, much of the really great innovation is still to come.
