Conversations Podcast Features AI&F Advisor Phil Chen and Other AI&F Experts
AI&F Advisor Phil Chen is a venture capitalist presently living in Taiwan who formerly was senior project developer for the first HTC phone and played a formative role in the development of other significant AI projects and application. In this podcast, Phil discusses with Fuller President Emeritus Mark Labberton the development of AI and the ethics of sourcing material for large language models like ChatGPT. As Phil was arriving at Cal Tech to pursue research in computer science, he noticed a sign for Fuller Seminary, and thought, why not take some courses there? That led to a Master of Divinity in Post-Modern Philosophy, alongside his computer science degree, and the perfect combination of perspectives for our work at AI&F.
This is part of a longer series of interviews on AI on the Conversations podcast. Other appearances have been our Research Director Mark Graves; pioneer Silicon Valley entrepreneur and author Guy Kawasaki; and most recently our board chair, David Brenner. Mark interviews major Christian authors, pastors, and leaders in many contexts, and has enthusiastically endorsed our AI&F mission. It’s great to have this support for our work!
