The Mainline Denominations AI and the Church Summit on August 12-15 aims to foster a profound dialogue in and among The Episcopal Church, Presbyterian Church (USA), and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) on the theological, ethical, and societal implications of AI in our world and the church’s involvement in shaping its trajectory. This is a focused conference of invited church and lay leaders for which AI and Faith has provided most of the faculty.
Post-Event: The summit emphasized the Church’s role in guiding AI’s ethical development while encouraging faith leaders to embrace AI’s potential for augmenting ministry and addressing global challenges.
