Is Head of Research and Instruction at Pitts Theology Library, Emory University, where he supports student and faculty research through teaching, outreach, and strategic collaboration. He holds a PhD in Religious Studies from Emory University, an MLIS from the University of Alabama, and an MDiv from Princeton Theological Seminary. His work centers inclusive learning, information literacy, and critical engagement with the tools of research and writing. Brady leads workshops for seminary faculty and church leaders on the theological and ethical dimensions of emerging technologies, with a particular focus on artificial intelligence and theological education. In addition to his work on AI and theology, he has published on biblical interpretation through the lenses of material culture, plants, and animals. His writing appears in Theological Librarianship, the Journal of Northwest Semitic Languages, and several edited volumes. He is also co-editor of Reading Scripture in Wesleyan Ways.
