Friendship Press is supported by the National Council of Churches (NCC) and manages the NRSVue and RSV Bible translations. Brian has a Ph.D. in biblical studies from Marquette University and a M.Div. from Duke Divinity School. Brian is also a science fiction writer, and his 2023 novella MessiahBot imagines God becoming incarnate as a chatbot.
