Facebook recently invited journalists into their “War Room”. As perhaps the world’s largest purveyor of fake news, the company has come under heavy criticism, and their stock has taken a beating since peaking in mid-summer. No doubt they hoped to confront both of these problems by inviting journalists into the heart of their battle on the front lines of the war on fake news.
