Is a Research Associate at the Human-Robot Interaction Lab at Tufts University and a lecturer in the university’s Computer Science Department. His work focuses on the ethical evaluation and design of AI systems for interactive contexts, including how moral norms will shape how social robots are judged. Thomas also holds a Master’s degree in Theological Studies from Harvard Divinity School, and is nearing completion of his PhD dissertation there.
