AI x Summit | University of Wisconsin, Madison
Join us for a day of conversation at the intersection of artificial intelligence, responsibility, and faith. Todd Korpi, author of AI Goes to Church, leads a practical exploration of how AI can serve ministry while helping leaders navigate technology responsibly and faithfully. Next, a public panel organized by the University of Wisconsin–Madison’s Center for Humanistic Inquiry into AI and Uncertainty features UW faculty examining not just what AI can do, but what it should do, and how communities can shape its influence with insight, care, and awareness. The day concludes with an evening of exploration into the profound questions at the heart of today’s AI revolution with theologian and computer scientist Noreen Herzfeld, drawing from her acclaimed book The Artifice of Intelligence — examining how artificial intelligence challenges our understanding of human uniqueness, the image of God, and what it means to love our neighbors in an increasingly digital world. Greg Cootsona, Executive Director of AI and Faith, will join Herzfeld in conversation following her presentation.
