Is an ordained Presbyterian minister and the current Chaplain of the U.S. House of Representatives. She previously served as the first woman Chief of Chaplains of the U.S. Navy and the Chaplain of the Marine Corps, retiring as a Rear Admiral. She was awarded the Bronze Star for her service as a chaplain in Afghanistan. Admiral Kibben holds a Masters of Divinity and Doctorate in Ministry from Princeton Seminary and a Masters Degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College.
