Has been the pastor of Queen Anne Lutheran Church in Seattle since 2016. Prior to his arrival at Queen Anne Lutheran, he was an ordained Lutheran pastor in a specialized call to a teaching ministry as a professor in the humanities at Seattle University. He holds a BA in English from Santa Clara University along with three graduate degrees in theology, the last of which is a PhD in Systematic and Philosophical Theology from the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley.
