Meet our Speakers

Pablo A. Ruz Salmones is the Chief Executive Officer at Xeleva Group a Software Development, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Business Consulting firm. Pablo has spoken on AI and Ethics in Mexico, the US, and other countries, and appears regularly on TV and radio shows in México to discuss the relationship between art, religion, sustainable development, and technology. Pablo studied Business Engineering and Computer Engineering at Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México in Mexico City.

Dr. Nikki Mirghafori serves as a Board of Director, Stewarding Teacher at Spirit Rock Meditation Center and a Dharma Teacher at the Insight Meditation Center in Redwood City, CA. The PhD thesis titled, “A Multi-Band Approach to Automatic Speech Recognition” and Masters thesis titled, “On Robustness to Fast Speech in Automatic Speech Recognition”. Mirghafori holds a B.S. in Computer Science from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a M.S. and PhD in Computer Science from University of California, Berkeley.
