Please join us for our upcoming Town Hall on Misinformation, Truth, and AI with AI&F Expert Andrew DeBerry. He is currently a founder of a cybersecurity company and serves as a Reservist in the U.S. Cyber Command. He has led teams for AI and cybersecurity initiatives at Meta, AWS, and Microsoft, and has studied engineering, Catholic Social Teaching, and Public Policy at Notre Dame, and Masters in Business & Arabic at Wharton-Lauder. The discussion will focus on the core issues of truth in a world of AI, and how we can navigate the relationship between these issues and faith. The tradeoffs between freedom and security, the difficulties of moderating and regulating public platforms, the impact of these new technologies on national security, and how new mediations of truth might affect our own individual faith lives are all questions which will need to be answered continuously as more advanced AI technology becomes common. This fireside chat will provide a deep and thoughtful conversation on an increasingly important area of our relationship to technology.
