Is Team Leader of AI for UUs, an expanding group of Unitarian Universalists aligned with AI and Faith in its mission. In 1992, Dan launched ProfNet as an email-based expert network for reporters, and has served as the chief communications officer for Syracuse University, the University at Stony Brook and Skidmore College. In his long-standing interest in collaborative media, he produces with others the Smartacus blog, AI and the Human as a platform for conversations and sermons, and Darwin’s Edge, an immersive sci-fi scenario designed to creatively engage UU congregations in the “AI conversation.”
