Kenneth Cukier is the Deputy Executive Editor of The Economist, following two decades at the paper. He’s the coauthor of “Framers” on mental models and AI, and “Big Data”, a NYT bestseller in 20 languages. Kenn has been a research fellow at Harvard’s Kennedy School and Oxford’s Said Business School. He’s a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, a board director of the European Graduate School and attends the Quaker Meeting in Richmond, England.
Timothy Dalrymple is president of the John Templeton Foundation. Prior to assuming this role in July 2025, he served as CEO of Christianity Today, where he led a multi-year transformation that reenvisioned the historic media property, expanded its reach in new media and global markets, and returned it to growth amid severe headwinds in journalism. Dalrymple has led innovative media ventures and worked closely with writers, scholars, and philanthropists to elevate ideas that enrich public life. A former national champion gymnast turned philosopher of religion, he holds degrees from Stanford University, Princeton Theological Seminary, and Harvard University, where his doctoral work focused on the nature of suffering and religious knowledge.
