November 21-24, the American Academy of Religion conference comes to Denver, drawing over 7,000 attendees and AI-related papers, panels, and events. Based on what we’ve seen the past few years, a significant number of presentations on artificial intelligence focus on empirical and technological questions and leave theological reflection and ethical wisdom as a minor theme. That gap is where the work of AI and Faith and our scholars bring particular contributions.
On Saturday, November 21, 7-10pm we are co-hosting the Science and Religion Hospitality Event. We hope to see you there.
We’re also planning to gather our AI and Faith community for dinner on Sunday night, November 22—let us know if you’ll be at AAR and if you’d like to join us. Please message admin@aiandfaith.org to RSVP.
