Host: Pablo Ruz Salmones is a Mexican polymath. He is the founder and CEO of X eleva Group, a leading Artificial Intelligence development firm in Mexico. He is also a pianist and composer, having performed on stages in Mexico, New Zealand, and the United States. Pablo contributes regularly to various media outlets in Mexico and around the world, and has delivered lectures on AI, Ethics, Art, and other topics for renowned companies, universities, and research institutes in several countries He has published articles in international academic journals on Education for Sustainable Development, in collaboration with researchers from Humboldt University in Berlin. In his free time, he practices Kung Fu at the Shaolin Temple of Mexico.
Shoukei Matsumoto is a Kyoto-based Buddhist monk, Director of the Living Dharma Centre (Vancouver), Professor of Practice at Musashino University (Tokyo), and Mercator Visiting Professor for AI in the Human Context at the University of Bonn. A member of the WEF Global Future Council on Leadership, where he leads the Leadership Compass workstream, and a Young Global Leaders alumnus (2013), he works at the meeting point of spiritual tradition, technology and ethics, asking how today’s leaders can become good ancestors. He is the author of the international bestseller A Monk’s Guide to a Clean House and Mind and Work Like a Monk (Simon & Schuster, 2025).
