AI and Faith has over 70 experts and several partners who affiliate within Evangelical Christian communities. This includes Baptist, Pentecostal, Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), and other Biblically-focused denominations as well as Non-denominational Christian organizations.
Our experts and professional members meet regularly to strengthen connections and awareness of each other and their work, iImprove communication among ourselves and identify places for collaboration, encourage and support each other in community, and equip each other to catalyze our capacity for impact.
Although the term “Evangelical Christianity” can have many meanings, we generally use it to refer to Christians whose beliefs are grounded in statements of faith like that from the World Evangelical Alliance and Lausanne Covenant and who work closely with organizations that define themselves in terms of evangelistic missions. We differentiate some of our activities among Evangelical Christian, Mainline Protestant, and Roman Catholic perspectives to facilitate the ability of our Christian experts to speak to different groups and collaborate on focused projects, though many of our experts are ecumenically focused or affiliate with other Christian traditions.
Our experts engaging with ethical approaches to AI from evangelical Christian perspectives include:
David Bourgeois, Kutter Callaway, Andy Crouch, John Dyer, Melanie Dzugan, Adam Graber, David Goecke, Gretchen Huizinga, David Kim, Justin Lester, Quintin McGrath, Lewis McMurran, Joanna Ng, Thomas Osborn, Marcus Schwarting, Joshua Swamidass, Jason Thacker, Lisa Vermillion, Benny Xian and Richard Zhang.
Although most of our projects are ecumenical or interfaith, four of our projects significantly involve our evangelical advisors and fellows.

AI and Faith is a pluralist organization seeking to engage the world in the moral and ethical issues around artificial intelligence.
